SunAh [SUN-ah] is a Chicago-based interdisciplinary artist, educator, and art therapy graduate student with intertwining backgrounds in performing arts and fine arts. Her work is rooted in embodiment and witnessing - to start up uncomfortable conversations around the Culture of Silence among the spectrum of Asian and Asian Americans, and to examine the quality of life of multicultural adolescents and young adults.
Originally from Seoul, South Korea, SunAh received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Music (Piano Performance) at Columbia College Chicago, and currently pursuing and training in the Masters of Arts in Art Therapy and Counseling at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
